Start with a 4 inch tall stencil. (fig.1). 

Again I place the stencil over to one side to maximize room for writing and using black, outline the cobra and fill in the parts of the stencil that are black. (fig.2). 

Add freehand flames using red and filling in with yellow.  Also fill in the mouth and eyes with red and yellow.  Fill in the hood of the cobra with blue and green and peel the stencil. (fig.3).

Next add yellow to the entire body avoiding the face, fangs, and tongue, and add orange shading to the belly. (fig.4),

Add details to the face and hood using black (fig.5).

Lastly, add lettering in black with blue highlights.  Add blue to the face, fangs, and lower part of the cobra’s body and color the tongue red. (fig.5).
