Isaac Meyers has an eye for beauty. His mother taught him very early that one’s inner-self should be and will be outwardly expressed. As a makeup artist, Isaac is inspired by the rich artwork of his Native American (Kodiak and Lakota) heritage and driven by his passion to craft makeup-looks that express each person’s unique inner beauty.
Isaac began his Hollywood training at the Cinema Makeup School. He has traveled to Milan, Paris and other fashion hubs and worked with countless television productions, commercials, and film. He continues to gain further insight by studying with the London Film Academy and the Skin Science Institute.
Isaac’s abilities were further refined while doing editorial work for makeup power-houses L’Oréal – Paris and Maybelline – New York. These editorials influenced television shows such as Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight. Isaac crafted and ensured that each celebrity red carpet appearance was a pleasant and memorable experience.
His clients include music legend Etta James, recording artist Rihanna, and actors Rob Lowe, Ray Liotta, Dennis Haysbert, and Super model Adriana Lima.
“Using Iwata airbrushes and compressors has changed the way I do makeup. Fashion Shows are fast-paced. New York Fashion Week events include preparing as many as 20 plus runway models very quickly. Incorporating airbrush into my art speeds the process and allows me the time to perfect all of the looks that I have planned for my models.”
